A Rod Breakdown Machine (RBD Machine) is an industrial wire drawing machine used to reduce the diameter of thick copper or aluminum rods into thinner wires for making cables and conductors. The rod passes through a series of specially designed drawing dies that gradually reduce its size while maintaining strength and flexibility. Many RBD machines are also equipped with an inline annealer, which softens the wire to prevent breakage and improve conductivity.
